Amica has the highest rating of all insurance companies but they don't offer insurance in all states. I live in MO and would've gone with them in a heartbeat but it wasn't available for MO residents.

I was single and tried to keep my non-cash charitable deductions at $500 or less. Above the $500 the IRS wants you to go through hoops. I got married this year and will file MFJ. Can I deduct $1000 for both of us before the IRS requires more info?

I have auto deduct and yes this is a refund check because of the auto deduct. I don't want to mess with the refund check every month. I want SS to take the Medicare payment out of my check prior to depositing it into my account.

Is it necessary to pay estimated tax on the dates April, June, Sep and Jan?

My plan is to have a good idea of what I owe in taxes in Dec when I take my RMD. At that point I would designate how much of my RMD should be sent in for taxes.

I got married this year and we intend to file as jointly married. We both are retired and have been paying estimated tax payments on our own. Do we both continue to pay estimated tax payments then just add them together when filing our joint return?

Romano's Macaroni Grill's house red and white wine is 1/2 price for 1.5L (2 btls) $15. What you don't drink they bag up free to take home. It's a decent table wine. We eat there every 2 weeks and each person in our group can get a bottle.

The water company is pushing this type of insurance to cover the water line coming into the house, the sewer line exiting the house and in-house plumbing. This insurance cost $200 plus a year.
