How to introduce legos to my almost 5 year old boy?

My son (almost 5 year old) loves building blocks, but not played much with Legos before. What are some good building sets to order to introduce him to legos? If the lego set says it is for 5 year old, will it be suitable for my child with out prior experience with legos?

Thanks in advance
