I don't know about a swat team but when you transfer over 10K from one banking institution to another, it is reported to the IRS.

Chicago IL,. I have a copy of the will. The ROTH account is held by TRPrice. My plan at this point is to have the attorney look through his safety deposit box again to ensure the will has not been misfiled. The copy of the will (at the bottom) clearly states that the original is in the attorney safe...

I think you are correct, until I'm named the exeuctor by the courts it's a non-issue. I'll see the lawyer after the holiday.

Thank you for all the information. I should have included more background info. He originally had a Traditional IRA and I was named as beneficiary, (he was ill, cancer). He decided to convert the Traditional IRA to a ROTH IRA, however, the beneficiary (me) did not carry over to the ROTH IRA. Therefo...

Don't have original will to close Roth IRA

My brother passed in August, I am the executive of his estate (less than 40K). I have a copy of his will but not the original. The attorney who drew up the will can't find the original. How do I proceed without the original will, I need to close his Roth IRA account? Does anyone have any advise???

Live in rural area, need internet provider

I live in a rural area near Chicago and I need an internet provider. Has anyone used Hughes Net as a provide.
