My vote is for a Sig-Sauer P232 which is chambered for .380 ACP. Single stack magazine and 6+1 rounds. Not the cheapest, but when your betting your life; the most economical option may not be the best option. Handle and shoot a few before you decide!

Here you go....I got one a few weeks ago, awesome!
USAA M/C (10% off gas through 6/13) Costco Amex everything else Taz, What type of USAA MC do you have? I have the World MC Cash Rewards and can't find any reference to 10% off gas. That's the one I have. I called USAA when my BP card converted from 5% cash back to new offer. I told them I wasn't us...
Can anyone tell my how to calculate the SS benefit if you retire before age 62 and collect at age 62? I see where the SS estimate assumes you work until age 62, so if you stop working at age 50 and collect at age 62 how is the benefit amount determined?

To OP- I have 3: Fidelity Amex 2% off everything USAA MC around 1.25%, just use it for places that don't take Amex Tar...
My 457b is also with Nationwide. Haven't heard anything about 20% though, maybe thats changed? The other nice thing about this fixed fund is it allows my AA to become more conservative with time, without the need to rebalance out of the 100% equity allocation in my Vanguard accounts.
Thanks to everyone for their feedback. In my case, I am not locked into the fund and could switch to DODIX with a .43 ER at anytime. The best feature of the 457b plan is ability to access the money without penalty 31 days after separating from employment, so this account serves as my backup to my 6 ...
I have a retirement account (457b) that offers a Fixed Contract Fund with a yield of 3.50%. Would this fund be a good substitute for a bond fund such as DODIX?
I find it fascinating that there are so many folks on this site with a similar experience. I thought it was just me that had noticed the decline of USAA.
This is my email and their response last October when I inquired about higher rates: Reference Account: SAVINGS #XXXXXXXX I saw Ally is paying .95% on saving accounts and was wondering if USAA would competitively match this rate. Since I have been a USAA customer for 20+ years I thought I would ask ...
I monitor throughout the day via iPhone. I have to admit I am a recovering tinker . In the past, I tended to change my AA a few times a year because I was never sure how much risk I should take. I found that as my AA approached age in bonds, I tended to tinker less and worry much less. This year my ...
On another point, USAA has once again payed their employees a bonus of 18.8% of their base pay. This in a year where they raised their home insurance premiums by 15.7%. See this article: http://www.mysanantonio.com/business/article/USAA-s-18-8-bonus-equals-highest-ever-4232825.php Don't get me wron...
I did get them to give me an additional 10% cash back on up to $200 a month in gas purchases on my credit card several months ago. The rebate is good for a year and is on top of their regular cash back offer. They were trying to better the old BP gas card deal of 5% cash back. My old 5% BP Visa car...
I just opened an account at Ally because of the low interest rate in the performance first account at USAA. I too had to call USAA about transferring funds but they did not offer to match Ally's rate. I guess they need your business more than they do mine. :confused I have been a USAA member for ov...
