I started a new job today and wanted to know what an average 401k plan and Paid Time Off policy is? Above average and below average would be good to know too. Right now im getting 5 hours every 2 weeks. I'm also getting a 3% match on a contribution of 6%.

Truth behind using most of your credit limit?

I have read here that if my limit is say 3,000 on a credit card and I am consistently using more than 66% of it or something along those lines it may have a negative affect because the credit company see's you as a big spender even if you pay it on time all the time. Any truth to this?

Selling Mutual Funds & ETFs

What are the average costs of selling a mutual fund and an ETF? Selling a stock is the simply $7-$10 commission but I am unsure of what it typically is for mutual funds and etfs. Thank you.

Lazy Portfolio Advice (ETF or Mutual Fund)

Young guy, have some exposure to the S&P 500 so I would like to go with either Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF (BND) or Vanguard Total International Stock ETF (VXUS) next. However since there is an ETF version and a Mutual Fund version of both. How does one go about deciding which is better?

I guess I never realized that you have to pick an actual fund to invest in when deciding on a Roth IRA. I always thought you just decide on a Roth IRA and thats that. Does anyone know the minimum investment for a Roth IRA through Vanguard? Is it 3,000?
