Re: External Hard Drive?

Thanks for the great responses everyone! I'm leaning toward a 1 TB WD Elements or 1 TB Seagate Backup Plus Slim, both around $60.00. Both look to have good reviews; just flip a coin?

Thanks again,

External Hard Drive?

My laptop is beginning to act funny at times, and am leery that it could be hard drive related. Is is best to back things up to an external hard drive, or maybe one of those cloud services I've heard about? Maybe some other option?

Thanks in advance,

401(k) for Small Businesses - Costs?

My wife's new employer, with roughly 450 employees, surprisingly does not offer a 401(k). She thinks the owners are overly frugal, not offering basic benefits such as a retirement plan. Of course, this could end up backfiring, as it can lead to unhappy employees and higher turnover. Does anyone know...

I am currently on the old T-Mobile prepaid plan where I was able to roll over my minutes for an entire year by adding $10.00 (I am a very light talk user). My anniversary date is coming up next week, and I currently have $50.87 in my account. From what I can tell, prepaid T-Mobile now has a $3.00/mo...

Re: Home Thermostat Wiring

On the doityourself.com forums, I was told it is not recommended to use a setback stat on a heatpump system (which mine is). First of all, Happy 2015! As such, tax prep work is right around the corner. My wife and I plan to itemize deductions this year and have several items of clothing that we donated in 2014. If this is promoting small businesses, why are some of the participating businesses AT&T, Hertz, Dell, etc? Does this mean I could simply pay my A&T phone bill on 11/29 to qualify? Kind of defeats the purpose of supporting small business!

It isn't dryer sheet related, as we don't use them.
