Well, it seems like self discipline and a plan are the answers to spending money on a financial advisor or planner. The only professional help I see that this young fella may need is tax planning.

Tax Managed International

Vanguard's Tax Managed International is different than Vanguard Total International Index due to the absent of emerging markets. However, the performance of the two funds are comparable yet the expense ratio is different with Tax Managed (VTMGX) costing .10 and Total International Index costing .16....

Great question. I certainly don't have $5MM. I was thinking about the costs associated with a balance fund if you have a large balance.
