Maytag Plus refrigerator -- Model RDT2100DAE

The automatic ice maker inside the freezer of this unit is usually reliable, but about once per year it stops making ice. Within 24-48 hours the ice maker starts again.

It's been five days.

Advice?

I can verify the time by using the TV, radio, or internet -- very precise, very easy.

How do I know if my tire pressure gage is correct? I am now using a dial-type readout, but the question applies to any type gage.

What about drilling thru the wood where both sashes overlap, then inserting a removable pin -- being very careful not to drill the glass.

All the windows in my 20-year-old home are double hung (insulated glass). Over the years I have noticed that the upper sash seems to drop about 1/2" to 1" over a month's time. I find myself re-setting them frequently. The standard sash lock has little effect.
