Just a further wrinkle in this whole affair. The Tax Info on publication 536 pertains to regular TSP Account Holders and Beneficiary Account holders. A Beneficiary Account Holder is a spouse who had inherited a TSP account. A non-spouse who inherits a TSP account is not a Beneficiary Account Holder....
