Wash sale

Hi, I sold some apple less than 30 days ago at a loss, If I buy some for a less cost <at a different broker company > will a wash sale be implemented ???

Cash or Bonds

Hi, I am in transition of setting up my portfolio after having to liquidate some funds to transfer to VG etc. . My goal is to be 80/20 stock/bond between all my accounts. Buying ETF's from TD Ameritrade

I have a taxable account with TD and the expense ratio's are the same as Vanguard and they have commission free etf's as long as you keep them for 30 days otherwise it cost you $19.99 about the same to buy and then sell. If I never filed a 8606 where would this 5498 form be ??? It sounds like it was sent to the IRS from my IRA holder/company .. I'm wondering if I should send it in (if I have it ) with the stack of 8606 forms ??
