Thanks for all the replies. We are not very excel savvy :) so that may not be the best option right now. We do like the YNAB website and application so we will probably start with it and try Mint.com as well.

you all have provided such great information to my wife and I via this forum. We debating over the weekend and thought we were set on going with a target date fund from each of our 401k plans. We were looking for a 70/30 AA. I was going to go with the BTC LifePath 2030 which I believe is about 70/30...

thanks for the help. The initial AA you recommended was based on 60/40. How would you adjust it to reflect 70/30? Also you seem favor the Vanguard funds, can you tell me why? Trying to learn as much as possible. :)
